As they walked he teased her about being able to beat her. He might be able to, but she would try pretty d**n hard to not let that happen. Leader or not, Aurora didn't like losing. The leopard was merely a pawn in the situation, Vince being the real key. It was starting to become darker by the second, and she was sad that she could no longer go on her nightly hunts. Darkness usually meant hunting, yet now they simply meant night. It was an oddly depressing thought. Snapping back into reality she noticed they were extremely close. Part of her told her to get closer, and the other part that she usually showed was telling her to back off. Suddenly she stepped back and away from him.
"Vince, we need to stop. What would the coven think?" She asked him, suddenly going from joking around and having fun to a more serious conversation. Hopefully she wouldn't scare him off with this new question. She honestly didn't want to stop, she more or less wanted a solution. Though she knew the smart thing to do would be to walk away she couldn't help but stay frozen in her spot, watching and waiting for him to reply.

He felt her pull away and her words stung slightly. He sighed "I understand your concern" he said. "I don't want to appear like I favor one member of the clan more than any other. I know that it might cause some to disrespect you and I will not have that." he said. He took her hand. "I don't doubt that we both know of the feelings we have for one another" he said to her. "But I understand how we must keep this secret and harbored away." he said. "But I'd like to think we could share moments like these in private...make it secret" he said. "A bit of a thrill to coutnerbalance the loss of your hunt" he said.
He looked down "I understand if you don't wish this..." he said. "I will suppress my feeling and actions if you so please" he said to her honestly.

It was true, some probably would be disrespectful to her over this fact. Not only that but she knew that Vince had slept with people within the coven, and she wasn't too happy about that one. Honestly he hadn't done it too long ago, though they've had feelings for each for awhile. But she also couldn't expect him to stop doing such things for her, even though it hurt to think about it. Nonetheless she thought about what he had said. About keeping it secret, that is.
"Well I guess we could do that. I mean, at least things would be less complicated that way.." She said in agreement. If this was how she had to be with him, oh well. The female vampire preferred it not to be a secret, but then again they really had no choice. It was easier this way, and easier was key. Having agreed to this she stepped closer to him, so close that they were touching; chest to chest.
"I wasn't expecting this when I came down to the gardens." She said smirking, a small, serene laugh at the end of her sentence.

He looked at her with a smile. He'd love to go public with her. But she didn't seem to wnat that in his mind. He looked at her with a smiled and rubbed his nose against hers. "Oh my sweet...being able to tell you this has lifted a load off my chest" he said to her. He kissed her cheek unsure if how quickyl seh wanted to take this. He took her hand and gave it a light squeeze. He looked at her with a smile and then down again. "So why did you come to the gardens out of curiosity?" he said to her.

This was all so new to her, so different. All her life it had been only her. Never having been in a relationship, never admitting her feelings for someone. Although she'd never truly had feelings for anyone, since she didn't get close to people. Her emotional and trust issues usually prevented this. How Vince had gotten in she didn't know, and suspected it didn't matter. This would certainly be a learning experience if nothing else. She could also identify with what he said, she felt good knowing that he knew how she felt. Though it was still a secret, this one was much easier to live with.
As he kissed her cheek she flinched internally for a second, not used to so much physical contact. Well, other then fighting of course. But when he pulled back from the peck on the cheek she simply couldn't help what she did next; she kissed him. Leaning against him, her lips met with his own in an electrifying kiss. Her own soft and full, it seemed almost perfect. Returning back to her normal standing position she pulled back again, regretting what she'd just done. Trying to act as if it hadn't happened, she decided to answer his question.
"Umm. Well, I come here to think." She explained as to why she had come to the gardens. Then she began walking again, avoiding eye contact all the while.

When she flinched he felt a little hurt by it. He hadn't really cared for a woman like this since his wife. Then she kissed him. Sparks flew and the heat rose. He felt her soft lips and touched her cheek gently in reaction. He looked at her and smiled unsure what to think, "What. You are an odd one to figure out Miss Skye" he said to her with a laugh. He looked at her and shook his head. "Your very intersting my dear...I like it" he said. He leaned in to kiss her gently again. He lookedd at her with a smile.
He held her hand as they walked. "Thinking? Did you accomplish any of that?" he asked teasingly. "I came for photography and I certainly achieved that." he said to her.

As they walked she felt as if she was watching from the view of an outsider. As if, this couldn't possibly be her walking hand in hand with this man. Some thought that vampires can't love and they have no soul, oh how wrong those people were be. Aurora believed they had a soul, and in fact, that they could indeed love. Vince seemed the perfect person to be with in theory. He was calm and collected, only cruel to those who threatened the coven or people he cared for. Aurora was usually the same, however lately she'd been straying from this a bit.
"Ya' know, I think I did. I feel much better now." She said smiling, connecting her eyes with his own again. It was hard to be this way with him. To be so..different. This was her natural self, though some wouldn't believe it. She never acted this way with anyone else and no one has ever seen this side of her. Hopefully, things wouldn't go bad with them anytime soon. She also knew that he needed to focus on leading the Coven and she hoped she wouldn't distract from that.

"Well it's good to know I didn't cause you to stray then" she said with a smile. He looked at her with a smile. He was glad to have these feeling somewhat out in the open. Of course he would honor her wishes and keep it hush hush. He didn't intend on tellign anyone. That coul potentially put them both at risk. He continued to walk until the sun had completely left and the moon began to rise. "Well shall we return to our lodging to prepare for our little game tonight? he asked with a smirk. He would enjoy this, but iltimately allow her the kill for her to satisfy her needs. He had learned to go days without feeding. He was the strongest in his clan as far as that went...he'd been kidnapped before when under Marcus' clan as a P.O.W. and was starved. But he had learned to withstand the hunger for days.

"Can't wait." She responded letting go of his hand. They couldn't be seen walking like this or it would be obvious. Though it probably was anyways, she refused to give them a definite reason to be disrespectful. Speculation was a lot different then an actual fact and she knew that. She wanted desperately to kiss him again, and to not stop this time. But she wouldn't, and couldn't as he wanted to have a game with the leopard.
The rising moon was one sight she could never get tired of. It was beautiful, the way it hung in the sky. It illuminated things in a way that the sun could never accomplish. The moon was quite possibly her favorite part of nature, besides rain of course. Well if you counted weather as a part of nature.
They walked for a ways before they reached the manor. Making meaningless chatter about things that had been happening in the coven lately, about the things they each liked and disliked, etc. None of it was of real importance, it was simply something to fill the silence. Though she did feel happy to be getting to know him better after what had happened tonight. As they approached the manors front entrance, she turned to him at once and gestured for him to go first.
"Shall we? She asked, her eyes saddened at the thought of not being able to be affectionate with one another, yet excited at the thought of a hunt. Even if it wasn't the type of hunt she wanted, it was a hunt nonetheless.
